Resort Reservation not linked to Magic Bands

I searched the boards first but don't really see an answer to my problem. We leave for Disney in 2 days. I just noticed that our magic bands are not linked to our resort reservation. We purchased upgraded bands last year for the trip that was canceled cause Disney was closed. We have the bands and they show in MDE but are not linked with the resort. Our resort info is also linked to MDE. I thought they would have automatically linked bands to the resort because they are both in MDE. So confused. Is there a way to fix this now or will I have to wait until we arrive and go to the front desk? I know we don't need them but the kids like having them.
Thanks in advance.

I believe on the My Disney Experience Tab on the Website, there is a section for Magic Bands and there is a way there to enter your Magic Band number and link with your reservation.

Is this what you are talking about? If so, I think it is just saying that you didn’t order new magic bands for this trip. We have the same situation. We had a trip planned for March 2020 and didn’t get to go but had two sets of magic bands from that cancelled trip, so we didn’t order any more. If your magic bands and reservations are both on MDE, they are linked.

I think the key word in the image that thinkerbell shows is "New." Your year-old magicbands should work for all purposes as long as your resort stay and your park tickets are linked to your MDE account. as long as MDE shows those magicbands are active.

Yes, this is the exact message. It really threw me for a loop. I guess as another member posted after you the keyword is "new". Thanks
