Resort Recommendtions

Looking for recommendations on which resort I should book. I am a male traveling solo and trying to figure out where the best resort would be. My sister said if I book at Pop or the All Stars I would look like a Creeper. So then I thought maybe Swolphin but worried i will lose the disney magic. Is my sister just being paranoid or should i really consider a different resort? my thinking is no matter which resort i chose must of them will be filled with families anyway.

No one will think anything about you being a single traveller. Please, book the resort that fits your interests, budget, and travel plans.

I would Not find it odd at all if the room next to ours was occupied by a single man. I think your sister is pulling your leg.

Stay where you want to stay. All sorts of people stay at the values, families, couples, singles. You won't feel out of place.

thank you very much. i have never been alone, i have always met family there so i got worried that she may be right. Good I wanted either pop or sports and since i read the food court at sports is under construction are they offering discounts on these rooms?

I always travel solo. If someone thinks I am a creeper, it's their odd problem. Why let that interfere with having fun?

I have stayed at Pop, ASMusic, and CSR. I am staying at ASMovies and ASSports my next two trips! Go, have fun, and stay where ever you want!

My husband and I were just talking about this subject the other night! I was referencing the bloggers who tour the parks solo with their camera taking pictures everywhere and my husband said that would totally creep him out thinking that person was preying on children. I couldn't believe it! lol I don't see a problem at all with an adult, male or female, staying in any resort alone. Unless you're actually doing creepy things, no one will even notice. lol No worries, and have a great time at whatever resort you choose!

Your sister sounds like my wife. She always says things like this. The fact of the matter is most people won't bother themselves with worrying about how you appear. They are at Disney and all they care about is having a good time. Stay where you want and where your budget allows just as others have said.

I saw a life advice thing once that said: "What others think of you is none of your business".

We've been to WDW 12 times and I never noticed what other guests are even doing. There's so many ppl walking around no one notices if your there alone or just went to get some food or drink by yourself while your family is taking a nap or swimming.

Go with CSR, I think that would be a great choice for you.

I was thinking CSR too as that is a convention resort. I've never been there but I wonder if they have slightly different amenities to cater to the single traveler.

There are just as many children at the value resorts as there are at any of the other resorts, it's Disney World. I guess I don't understand your sister's logic.
