Hi,
I'm planning on a Feb Disneyworld trip with 6 adults and 5 kids. I stayed at Art of Animation and lved it but we were looking for something different. We are looking currently at the Polynesian (construction should be finished), Boardwalk inn, Beach club, Carrib Beach, Animal Lodge and Wilderness lodge. Any suggestions?? I really want to go Polynesian but is it outdated compare to the others?

Thanks!

I absolutely love AKL. That said, If you have your heart set on the Poly I do not think you will be disappointed!

The Poly rooms were just completely renovated not too long ago!

Love WL as well!

We've stayed at all of your choices except BWI and while we loved all of them, the Poly is our favorite for the following reasons:

~ beautiful tropical atmosphere
~ nice pool that backs up to the beach with a distant view of the castle
~ Captain Cooks is great for quick CS meals/snacks
~ 2 monorail stops from MK (3 coming back)
~ 5-7 minute walk to TTC to catch the Epcot monorail
~ convenient to GF and CR for a variety of great dining options
~ large, spacious rooms with all rooms having a daybed

The Poly rooms were refurbed in 2013, with the lobby & Captain Cooks being redone this past winter. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, but the Poly is amazing and would be my first choice. Good luck.

they don't have any suites for when we go...just checked. I need a 1 br suite because of 1 baby in crib...if we go animal kingdom, do you sugggest kindani or jambo?

Thank you all for the info!

You're welcome :). Good luck choosing.

We've never stayed at Kidani, but I am always reading great things about it, so I don't think you can go wrong with either one. With that said, I don't think Kidani has a CS (hopefully someone else will be able to verify that or correct me if I'm wrong). If you are looking for a 1 bedroom suite (not a 1 bedroom villa with full kitchen & washer/dryer), that would be in Jambo, while Kidani is all DVC. Jambo does have some villas on the CL floor, but there are also suites if you didn't want a full kitchen and washer/dryer.
