HI! :wave2:

My friend and I are planning a trip for Feb. We have both been to WDW a few times. We will not be traveling with our kids on this visit and will only have 2 full days in the parks. We are planning to park hop and are trying to decide the best location to stay. We will likely be out at the parks most of the day (may come back a short mid day break) and want to stay where it is most convenient to travel to different parks. If price was not a factor what resort would you recommend and why?

TIA!
Jenn

If Price is not an option, with an Epcot Deluxe or an MK deluxe -- you can walk/boat right into Epcot and/or DHS from BC/YC/BWI and monorail over to the MK, or you can Monorail to the MK or monorail to the TTC and monorail to Epcot/DHS - easiest way to get in.

With only 2 days, which parks? That answers the question. If you plan on spending 3/4ths or more of the time at Magic Kingdom, then a Magic Kingdom monorail resort.
If you plan on spending a lot of time at Epcot and DHS, then an Epcot area resort. (it's literally a 3-5 minute walk from Beach Club to Epcot)

It is all about location convenience, especially with such a short trip.

We are doing a 3 night trip next summer. Staying Beach Club, we plan on doing Magic Kingdom in the mornings, but DHS and Epcot in the evenings, so it's a "quick trip home" at night.

It depends on which parks you plan to visit.

If you plan to visit Magic Kingdom & Epcot, I'd probably stay at one of the monorail resorts: Grand Floridian, Polynesian, or Contemporary. Another good choice would be Beach Club because you can walk to Epcot (and Hollywood Studios) from Beach Club, however your trip to MK would be longer (but still pretty close).

If you plan to visit Epcot & Hollywood Studios, I'd stay at Beach Club.

I guess the best "winner" here for your situation is probably Beach Club in terms of convenience. You can also walk to the Boardwalk area from BC as well which might be another perk for you.

I would recommend the Contemporary. It definitely has an adult feel and has a great lounge and plenty of dining options. Being able to walk to and from Magic Kingdom is priceless and of course you would have the monorail for Epcot.

Adults? No kids? Money is no object? Convenient Transportation? Grand Floridian main building (club level)

For adults only I would select one of the Epcot resorts. Being able to wander over to Epcot is one of our favorite things.

We are fans of the Boardwalk. Money no object? Club Level with Boardwalk view.

If you are enchanted by the Magic Kingdom I would go with the Contemporary, Tower room with Magic Kingdom view. Walk to the Magic Kingdom.

Have a magical trip!

I'd agree with near Epcot/HS, and if you do park hoppers you can take advantage of all the dining options of Epcot your evenings!

Another vote for the Epcot resort area (BC/YC/BWI), especially if you don't plan on spending too much time at MK.

Thanks everyone! We are going to stay at the Beach Club Resort. It seems like the best location for visiting all the parks and gives us better dinner options. I appreciate all the responses.

Wishing you all a magical evening! :tink:

Beach Club will be great for you. Have a wonderful trip. Don't know if you two like a libation or not, but even if you don't and you want to have a roaring good time at the end of the night, check out the dueling piano's at JellyRolls. You will be staying easily within walking distance.
