Resort Recommendation for Infant

we have 2 girls and have gone when they were both under 2 months. Personally, I like either BW or YC/BC as a deluxe resort. You get to walk to 2 parks and you can get back to your room from 3 parks without having to break down the stroller. Skyliner doesn’t work for us since a double stroller still needs to be broken down. Also, you spend more time in Epcot at night and left them enjoy the aquarium in the evening when it is not as crowded.
We have a Joovy Caboose ultralight sit stand (we do have the back seat attachment but never used it) and it is slim so rolls onto the Skyliner. It folds down and takes very little space in the trunk with the canopy removed (came in handy when all flights were cancelled and we had to load it in the back of a rental sedan - 20+ hr drive).

Once the back rider gets above 50 lbs (age 7) it’s a bit difficult to go uphill but then they can walk most of the time.

Here is a great video on taking Disney transportation with a double stroller (make sure the diaper bag is backpack style and you have a bag to hold all ponchos, cups etc. to be hands free as much as possible:

I have a 2.5 year old and an almost 1 year old. I find the hardest thing is transportation and folding up the stroller and all your stuff. So I would pick pop or Carribean beach so you can skyline to 2 parks (or even go through Epcot to get to MK so 3 parks if you have park hopper!). We love staying on the skyliner or the monorail. Contemporary garden wing might not be too much more than Carribean beach and get you walking to Magic Kingdom and monorail to Epcot. Renting DVC points and getting a one bedroom would be the absolute best option but not sure if it’s in your budget/ comfortable with renting points. The kitchen and separate spaces are really nice with a baby but studios/ one rooms work too.

Having a back-up plan is key so you’re not caught offguard if skyliner goes down - bus if it’s easy or uber from BC.

If you get to the skyliner and it is down, you can ask if BC is running the buses. Or just walk straight to BC and ask if they have a bus, if not get an uber from there. BC lobby is like 3 minute walk from skyliner station at EP.

I’ve heard of a bus path that sometimes opens there as well. I think they have you walk behind the Epcot skyliner on a short path to a backstage EP parking lot. I’ve never done myself but seen it mentioned a few times, iirc seemed to be when skyliner shut during mass exodus after EP fireworks.
