resort pricing inconsistant

Booked 3 rooms at pop century about 3 weeks ago for 1/4/08-1/10/08 using aaa which gave us a 20% discount off the rack rate of $82 for all 6 nights. Having an ap I called to change one room to the ap discount. New rate $49 a night. However, when I received my email confirmation-fri and sat nights were priced at $82. Called back and they said the weekends are priced differently under their new policy. No discount.

I knew that pricing could be higher on some weekends in 2008, however, this is value season and the rate is the same on all nights and we were given a aaa discount on all nights including weekends.

Seems like the pricing is inconsistant.

The rates for the values are $49 Sun-Thur and $69 Fri and Sat. I have a room reserved for $69 a night at Pop for 1/26. I would assume that there are no discounts available for your weekend dates. I originally had A/S Music because Pop was not available, but checked the FL resident website one morning and saw it was available that day and called and switched. (Note: I'm an AP holder, but their website is incorrect, so use the FL res. website to do your research). However for the moderates the discount is $99 a night which includes all 7 nights at that rate. (again the AP website will not show this for the weekends, you have to call CRO for the correct rate.) I just pulled up your dates with the discount below. However, since you're trying to get 3 rooms, maybe there are not 3 rooms available at the discounted price.

Thanks for the information. I am only trying to get one room with the ap discount. I did call cro and she said there was no discount on the weekends. I am going to call back to check on the $69 price.

It could be there are no discounted rooms available for what you have booked. (Just a guess only.)
