Resort pool slides close when?

Hi ,

We are going to the Poly in October/November and were told by our TA that the Volcano slide closes at 5 when the lifeguard leaves. Is that true of all resorts? That just seems so early, even for that time of year. Anyone know different, or can verify this? I guess we will be coming back midday to be able to use it.

Always been true when we go. The lifeguards put nets across it before they leave.
But I have seen the volcano pool open at night when we have eaten at POLY, so I would check direct with hotel on guard hours.
