Does anyone know if any resorts have a "Lazy River" type area? We were told that some resorts do but cannot find anything.
Thanks

Stormalong Bay at the Yacht & Beach Clubs, home of the DVC Beach Club Villas resort. This is currently the only resort pool on property with a lazy river. It's small, and often too deep to stand up in (unlike most lazy rivers at water parks) but it's a nice place to relax on a tube for a while.

They are putting a new large-scale water area into the Kidani Village section of Animal Kingdom Villas, but I don't believe there will be a lazy river.

Depends on what you define a "lazy river" area. To me it is what you find at a water park, nice distance, and shallow enough to stand.

The area at SAB that is sometimes referred to as a lazy river, but it truly is a short circular area of very swift current that is 8 feet deep.

You must stay there to swim at SAB.

More like the swift, deep circle than lazy river. Very short and very deep with a strong current. Got to be a very good swimmer to go into the SAB "lazy river".
