Resort pin traing locations?

Hi everyone...my memory is getting slow and my searches are getting bad so take pity on me! I seem to remember pin trading night at the Contemporary and Pop...do they still have these? We're going down in a month and DD loves to trade (as do DH and I but it's mostly about her - a shock I know! ). And what about the guy at Exposition Hall in the MK - is there such a person or did I invent him?

1. Disney did away with pin trading in the Contemporary on Friday nights and the All Star on Thursday nights about 2 months ago. We are hoping they will come up with an alternative. You can always swim with the sharks in DTD, but be careful.

2. No, you didn't make it up. Scoop Sanderson, the Main St. Gazette roving reporter, does a pin talk in Expo Hall at the front right of Main St. @ 1 PM. Check the sign out front to see what days- I can't keep them straight.

Wow, daber, they did away with ALL the Pin Trading Nights?!? That stinks *sigh*. Well are there *any* special pin-trading times left, at the parks or DTD or the resorts? (We're going to be at WDW over Columbus Day weekend, if that helps...does anyody know of special releases coming out then?)
I seem to remember -
DTD/Pin Store...any special events scheduled, any regular pin-trading times? I know they've had kids' stuff usually in the eveings in the past
DTD/WOD...I know they bring out their pin book/s in the jewelry section once a day, but exactly what time?
Epcot...Do they still run that "Pin Jeopardy" Board out of MouseGear? I've never been able to make it, but I think it's held in the Innoventions East walkway that's nearest Mission:Space.

Good to know that Scoop is still around but we'll miss him on our next trip since he's not at Exposition Hall over the weekends.

Don't know about the WOD pin book, or Mousegears doing anything special. You might check with them when you get there and then let me know. Yeah, Thursday nights in FL aren't the same anymore, but I have a feeling the local "sharks" bloodied the waters too much and Disney felt the magic was gone. I admit the last few times I was there, the crowd was thin and the trading non-existent unless you had 5 wet paints, a flubber, a few Mickey for Presidents and maybe a HM dangle to trade.

As for new releases, check the ODPT section of Disney.com and do a sort by date.

They used to have a pin board at MouseGears at 5PM daily. I haven't been to it in several months and can not swear that it is still there. The pin book may still be at WOD - it was so crowded last time I was there that I didn't even look for a sign.
