Resort parties at New Year’s Eve?

Do you know if the dvc resorts do some sort of parties on Dec 31st?
Interested particularly on the ones on the monoriel, but would like to hear your experiences them or in the others

There was a NYE event at RIV the year that it opened. It was rather upscale and was over $500 per person. You could probably do a search for reviews. They haven't done it since then but who knows? This could be the year to bring it back.

I think Poly gave out some paper/plastic hats for NYE going into 2022.
Not sure if there was a party on the beach as we went into MK for the dance party & fireworks. (Total aside: Looooooved the July 4th dance party in Tomorrowland, the two performers on stage did easy to follow moves for the crowd and it was so great seeing little 2 year olds following the moves along with CMs getting into it!!)

Edit: found a pic of the hat. Makes me think something did happen at Poly. I didn’t take a pic of the resort activities back then but for July 4, Grand Floridian had a “glow party” from 8-9pm on Gasparilla patio. I’d be shocked if there wasn’t a NYE activity too.

Wow! That's over $!000 a couple. For that price, they should comp people the price of their room for that night at least.

I don't think it was specifically for guests staying at CR - it was open to anyone who wanted to pay that price, and IIRC it sold out!
