If we travel in two cars but are staying in one room at Pop Century, will the resort give us two parking passes and allow us to park two cars?

If Pop is still giving out paper passes, yes you will get 2. They are in the process of getting rid of the paper passes and just scanning MBs. Not sure where Pop is in that process.

FYI, for non-DVC every room gets 2 parking spots/passes by default. If you have 3, 4 or 5 adults in a room, and paying the extra adult fee, you get a spot/pass for each adult.

March in POP = no parking passes BUT stayed there many times and just asked for two without issues.

I can not wrap my brain around this. No parking pass, how would they know if a car is parked legally there or not? Most resorts it wouldn't be an issue. But the monorail resorts, Epcot resorts? I can't figure it out. But with parking fees on the rise, I would think Disney would assume more and more people would try to park at any resort to avoid them.

The resorts that have already done away with the paper parking passes have cameras installed at the gates that note your plate number when your MB is scanned. From that information they know if that MB that was scanned is staying on site or not and which resort. The same camera is there when you leave to take note that plate number XXXX has now left that parking lot.

If you are scanning your MB to make the gate go up .... only a resort guest's MB should work. Once your stay is over, your MB should no longer open the gate.

Very interesting.
