Resort parking for dinner reservatios

We are new DVC members and excited about our first visit in June 2012. My question is we are staying at SSR and would like to make dinner reservations at another resort, can we park there if we aren't a guest of that resort?

Yes you can park for dinner, but not leave your car after dinner and go to a park, unless you pay to valet.

Some resorts will issue you a 3 hour parking pass for dinner reservations others just let you park.

We've never had a problem parking the car for a dinner ADR!

I just stayed at CSR for a week and parked twice at BC, once at BW, once at OKW and once at POR with no problems. They saw my parking pass and some guards asked for photo ID and some did not.
