Resort parking fee: Does it matter how many cars per room?

We will be 4 guests in one room with two cars.

Do we pay the resort fee per car or per room?

We had 2 cars last month...we told the front desk at check in. We were told it is only one fee and we were only charged for 1 car for the entire stay.

Just curious...were you charged for more than one car? When and at what resort? I ask because we are heading down again next month and I am wondering if things have changed.

Not personally. But my parents and Aunt have stayed at Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club and Pop Century (they are all local and visit often). All stays were within the last 3 months. The most recent being 2 weeks ago at Pop. And I've read multiple reports here on the DIS at other resorts that also got charge per car for multiple cars.
