Having never stayed on property before we plan to take the afternoon of our arrival day to "tour" around the resorts and parks can someone give me a suggestion for the best way to do this. We plan to have dinner at Ohanas at 6:00.

We are stating at ASMO and will have a car.

The easiest resorts to go to without driving to each individual one would be to hop the resort monorail from the MK ~ you can go to the CR,POLY and the GF then you could either take the monorail from the TTC over to EPCOT or drive to one of the Epcot resorts like BW and hit the Epcot resorts on the walking loop without having to keep driving to each individually. You can walk from BC to YC, then to Swan and Dolphin and then over to BW or the reverse. Keep in mind if you drive to BW or one of these resorts though that they'll only give a 3hr parking pass. So the monorail may be the better choice ~ you may want to actually do the reverse anyway and do the Epcot resorts first and then the MK resorts so that you end up at O'hana. All other WDW resorts you will have to drive to or take buses from parks or DTD but I'd drive.

Have fun. HTH's.

O'hana is awesome for dinner btw!!:teeth:

i would start with the All stars resort - you are right there - just look around - these have some cute ICon.

then you can either drive over to the Polyn - or take the bus to the MK - and then do the MK resorts.

make sure your parking permit is in your car - you will waved thru the MK toll booth - then tell the security guard that you have reservations at such a time for the Polyn.

If you are driving I would eat then go see the resorts.

if you are using the MK bus - make sure you know when the MK closes and plan accordingly - if the MK closes at 7PM - then do your touring before you eat.

if you find that your eating took too long and the MK is closed - then just get on the Epcot monrail at the TTC - you can walk to it from the MK and go that route to return to the All Stars.

for the Epcot resorts - I would either drive to BW - they have more visitiors because of the BW - and walk to all the Epcot resorts - or if you want a bus - take the Studios bus - (with the Epcot bus you must enter Epcot to get to the resorts and you would waste a ticket PH) - then either walk or take the boat to the Epcot resorts.

If you really have time - once you're at the Contemporary, take the boat over to Wilderness Lodge. It's a short, but pretty, ride. And the Lodge is breathtaking.

Then hop the boat back to the CR, or take the big boat over to Magic Kingdom. From there you can take another boat to the Grand Floridian and/or the Polynesian.

One tip for the Contemporary - there's a huge mural in the lobby - see if you can find the five-legged goat.
