Resort ONLY night before cruise

Am thinking of getting a flight that gets in around noon the day before our cruise. Which would be the most fun resort to go to for a non park stay? Might go to DTD in the evening.

we are staying at the poly for our pre cruise stay although we are staying 2 nights with 1 day spent at the resort and 1 day at parks. Thanks to the poly thread we decieded to book a cabana there , so it will be a day of relaxing on arrival day, we dont get it till 1030 am so booked the cabana for 3 till 7 pm then have a dinner reservation at Ohanas then will watch the electrical water parade from the poly beach. Hope this helps

If you could swing it I would suggest either BWI or AKL and stay CL for the day. AKL has a lot going on and is a beautiful resort to check out. BWI has the Boardwalk which can be a lot of fun at night. Both resorts have really good dining options. I would add the CL just as something a little extra to really kick off your cruise in style.

We are staying at POFQ the night before our October Fantasy cruise. I love the theming of this resort, and the fact that you can use the facilities at its sister resort, POR (double the dining and pool choices for the kids). I couldn't justify spending the money on a monorail deluxe, since we are not going to the parks. We are also planning to go to DTD the night before our cruise, so the boat from the resort to DTD was a real plus in our decision.

My choice would be the Poly as we love everything about it . With that said, we chose the YC for 2 nights prior to our cruise in July 2013, but that's because we are also staying a 3-4 nights after the cruise and are ending with our favorite resort.....the Poly . If we weren't doing a WDW stay afterwards, the Poly would be our choice for before the cruise .

We're doing the Wilderness Lodge for 2 nights before our December Fantasy cruise. With that extra night we're taking the girls to MVMCP, so we wanted an MK resort.

If I had one night, it would probably be the Animal Kingdom Lodge, I've always wanted to stay there.

This is exactly what we did last year. It was great. My dd went to BBB and then we had dinner. I love POFQ.

we did BWI after I received a good rate there, saved enough to go ahead and get four 1 day one park tickets. Walked into EPCOT, rode Soarin' and other rides, took in a little of Flower and Garden and had dinner. Walked around WS for a while before heading back to the Boardwalk area to soak it all in for a few hours. Up the next morning and drove to ther Port, on board and eating lunch by 1PM.

Animal Kingdom is fun... you can do the night vision goggles and theres lots to see.

my favorite would be anywhere on the monorail. (Poly/ CR.) you have a bunch of choices to go eat.

if you wanted to go less money... POR is always good too.
