Resort Mugs in DP

We decided to arrive a day early and stay at ASM before moving the next day to POR where we will have the dining plan. Can anyone tell me if we can use our resort mugs the night before?

You cannot. You can access package tickets early, but not dining credits, and the mug is a credit on the plan.
