Hi
It’s been a while since I’ve done a few days in Disney
For the refillable mugs you buy it and get free refills all your stay
My question is I drink soft drinks with loads of ice ( think here half ice and half soda ) always drank it like that
Will I be able to refill it if I finish it under ten minutes
Or let’s say is it a refill every 15-20 min

One last question if I fill my cup with water from soda dispenser is it filtered water ? I know Florida water sometimes have like a smell to it ( or so it was a few years back

I think you can refill your mug as often as you'd like, with no set waiting period, so feel free to refill right after finishing. Just keep it for personal use to avoid any issues. As for the water, the soda dispensers generally use filtered water, but Florida tap water can have a distinct taste. If you're not a fan, you can always ask for a cup of filtered ice water at counter service.

The mugs have a chip in them that does limit the time between soft drink refills, but it's only a few minutes. It's not that long. If you do try to refill early, the machines show you a timer.

If you're using the water switch on the soft drink machines, there is no timer.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but just a comment on the water. Not all places are filtered. We were eating at Grand Floridian Cafe, and the original water they gave us tasted fine. Waiter refilled my glass, tasted like Florida water. He was new, and didn't know that he had refilled the pitcher from a different tap. A more experienced waitress explained it to us and him, there were some filtered taps and some unfiltered. I've noticed it at different locations, some are good, some not so good.

Generally, it's 2 minutes between refills. Some of the machines display the time left to wait before you can get a refill.
