Resort Mug POFQ & Riverside

When staying at one of the Port Orleans resorts, can you use your refillable resort mug at the other Port Orleans food court? Just wondered if we pop across for a meal (we are staying at POFQ) to Riverside, whether we should fill our mugs first? I really DO NOT want to start a refillable mug discussion - I just prefer to keep within the confines of the correct practice and wondered if anyone knows how this works, officially.

In the past, yes, as these two resorts are considered "sister resorts." Same as the All Stars.

However, at this time the mugs (except for those at Coronado Springs) all look exactly alike, so you should be able to use them at any resort. There is no way to determine which resort they came from as the design is not resort specific.

Thanks, I will wait until the new year to check the new mugs. I don't want to pay for drinks at the other food court if I can use the mug, but likewise, if it is not acceptable practice, I don't want to be doing the wrong thing. It only occurred to me because when booking a resort they are done as separate resorts entirely so I wondered ....! I shall be patient! Thanks for the help.

i did just this when we went in 2008. we were staying at POR and wanted to take a walk over to POFQ we asked the lady in the food court if we could refill our mugs and she said YES! of course you can. have a great trip.

FYI....the Coronado mugs were changed over about four months or so ago...they are now the same as ALL of othe other resorts.

I was wondering the same thing the other day, as we will be staying POR and having breakfast one day at POFQ. Good to know for sure.
