how often do the monorails arrive at a hotel.

how long does a complete loop around take?

we are staying at the POLY and wanted to figure our travel times to different hotels and the park on the loop

any advice would be appreciated

A complete circle takes about 25 mins. If you get on at the Polynesian, it takes about 5-8 mins to get to GF, another 5 mins to MK, another 3 mins to CR, then another 5 mins to TTC and 2 mins or so to the Polynesian.

The average is as stated above, however it has taken me 25 minutes just to go from MK to TTC due to changing of drivers, delays at stations, etc.

Don't forget when going from the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian you can also use the walkway that goes there, which is about a 10 minute walk. Plus it's great for walking back to the Polynesian so you don't need to take the Resort Monorail. So that means not stoping at the Magic Kingdom, Contemporary and TTC before getting back to the Polynesian.

thank you for the tips. is there more than 1 on the tracks at a time. how often can expect them if I just miss 1 does that mean 25 minutes for the next one?

I want to say there is at least 3 Resort Monorail's on the tracks at all times, however if you just miss one another should arrive within 5 minutes or earlier. The 25 minutes is how long it takes when taking the Resort Monorail all around every stop.

If you are leaving Magic Kingdom, how do you know which one is the resort monorail, and which one is the express? Are they labeled?

Yes, there is a sign above the two ramps up to the monorail station telling which is which.

Thank you :) I've used the monorails a few times but never in an instance where I will be in a hurry, so for this trip I want to make sure I get on the right one!

There are separate entrances.

The Express Monorail entrance is inside the bag check, to the right as you leave the park.

For the Resort Monorail, you go out past the bag check, and then turn right.
