Resort Monorail stop order

Is there a WDW rule that I can't get on the resort monorail to get to the TTC when the line for the express monorail is packed?

As the PP stated there is no rule, and besides the fact that you'll waste a lil time in CR dropping off & picking up, but if I remember correctly ( ) I believe once you exit the resort monorail at TTC, you have to go down the ramp and around and then re-enter on the other side.. which will take some more time.

That's only if you want to change over to the Epcot Monorail for a trip to Epcot.

All I remember is in 2013 after wishes the mob of people waiting for the monorail to the TTC while the resort line was empty. So I decided to see what would happen if we took the resort line and blamo got to the TTC in no time. After that I thought to myself I must of broken a rule because why was no one else doing it.
