Resort monorail is down

Cast members say it is an airbag problem
Buses are available
For now use the public monorail

The Epcot one broke one evening when we were there in August. It had people stuck on it for about 3 hours.

We had to take a bus to and from Epcot to the TTC and then we just walked to the poly.

I think our kudos were ready to kill us. We walked out of Epcot so quickly that night before to get in line for the bus.

The next am we did early entry for Epcot. We got to the TTC at about 7:20. 7:30, there was still no one but a monorail came by. Finally we got on at about 8. I was annoyed because by the time we went thru security and the gates the lines were so long. We got a fast pass for test track and waited in the soarin line.

I know they are suppose to take it out of service from Tue Jan 21, 2014 till March. During the hours of 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

You're right about being out of service after 1/21 but this was a mechanical problem with an air bag. They could not get the doors to close on 2-3 cars. We waited over 20 minutes and then they sent everyone to the buses. We shopped in the resort for over an hour and when we left they were up and running.

This past October I was at the Poly awaiting the monorail. It stopped a couple of hundred feet prior to the station and sat there for about 10 minutes. Then the CM at the station announced that it had to back up to the TTC due to another monorail breaking down. So I decided to walk to the TTC to get to my car in the MK parking lot. But, the walkway was blocked for construction. So, I walked back to the Poly and took a taxi to the TTC. That whole monorail system is a mess.
