Resort Luggage Carts

Last time we visited Bay Lake Tower and Riviera (May) we were allowed to borrow the luggage carts usually used by bell services. It was really convenient....brought it right to our car in the parking lot...brought everything up to our room in one trip (we always have too much stuff) ..then returned cart to the lobby. This had never been allowed before, but assumed they changed this due to people not wanting someone touching their things.

Anyone visited either of these two resorts recently? Was wondering if they were still allowing this.

Thanks.

This was still being done at BLT in mid-June. I was shocked they were doing this as I had never seen it before.

At some resorts access to the luggage carts has been difficult, all depends on how many guest are checking in or out.
We purchased a foldable wagon that we traveling with. Our luggage has wheels, and the wagon takes care of the rest.

Most (all??) Worldmark resorts provide self-serve luggage carts. The etiquette is return them to the elevator lobbies when one has completed their need of the cart -- generally on the 1st floor or the parking garage levels.

We've always appreciated this resort amenity, especially for drive-to destinations! I hope that DVC resorts might do likewise!

Thank you gracerlm. Cello mom that is a great idea. I’ve been on the lookout for one for the beach but would come in handy for DVC. BWVbound....when we returned our cart to the lobby at Riviera we were thanked profusely for returning it. Apparently people had been keeping them in their rooms or just leaving them in the parking lot or elevator lobbies. 🙄🙄🙄. Some people are unbelievable and will end up ruining it for everyone with that lazy behavior.

LOVE these carts. I have one at home. We use it all the time. Like you said, it folds up and holds TONS.

I believe this was as covid measure, as cast members weren't touching your things, nor going into your room. I haven't heard that it's changed back yet, but I'm not sure. Anyone there recently and work with bell services?
