Hi Gang

We're heading to Disney next week, planning a dinner with just the adults, and having the kids stay at the BC kids club. However my DD has a peanut allergy that is serious if she eats peanuts. So, what precautions if any are there at the kids clubs for children with allergies. I thought I saw that they serve peanut butter sandwiches.

You might get more help over on the disability board. There are a lot of us peanut parents that post there.

I have also read that peanut butter is on the menu there but I do not know for certain. We are quite protective but it would be way outside of my comfort zone. Children eating peanut butter and playing with the same toys could lead to disaster. Also I would worry if the staff would be confortable with the epipen thing.

Peanut allergies are so much about comfort zones and I know we will have to widen ours at some point (DGS is only 3) but this would be too much of a risk for me.

I would call and ask about the food as well as epipen training.
