I think I've narrowed down resort choices for our potential April trip, given that this will be a longer trip we've worked the numbers and will probably do either AS Music or AS Movies if we go value. We have never stayed at either of these values. We have however stayed at POP when we did value a few years back and our biggest complaint, (parents only, not the kids, they had no complaints) was the noise. We loved the theming but just found the resort all around to be loud and had a chaotic feel. We've since stayed at some mods and most recently did POR and loved that it wasn't noisy at all. The resort on a whole seemed peaceful. Is it pretty much the same at the All Stars as it is at POP?? After noise level, my next criteria is theming. Any preference, something that sticks out at one resort over the other?? TIA

I have stayed at Music, Movies, & Sports. At both Music & Movies it was very loud. I lucked out at Sports and got a parking lot view corner room which was quiet. Paper thin walls at the values IMO. I love the mods for it being a bit quieter and my kids love the pool areas. I've stayed at both CS and CB and biggest complaint was the buses seemed to take forever. I think it is a gamble on who is staying next to you at the values. I always ended up there when there were teen groups that drove everyone a bit batty.

Por is our fav moderate. Will see how I do at Pop in a couple of weeks! Never stayed at any All Stars so can’t help you there. Only thing I can think of is to request a quiet room location.

Stayed at them all and this won't help but I find POP much quieter. I think the extra landscaping, the quiet lakeside rooms and the extra pool help to spread and buffer sound. Pretty sure by their food courts have much less seating (that area at POP closer to buses does not exist at AllStars) so they should be quite busy.

In April Allstars will be packed with spring breakers and school groups. It likely won't be quiet. My hope is with the new rooms, POP will put less groups there. Time will tell on that.
