Resort Info for Dec

I just got off the phone with my CAA agent and asked if it would be possible to extend my stay. Right now we are booked at Pop from Dec 2-9 but were hoping to get one more day either the 1st or 9th. Our agent was told by Disney that currently there is no availability for those dates for any Value or Moderate Resort. I tell you I'm getting worried at how busy the parks are going to be as we thought this would be a slow time but I think it is going to be very busy.

Half the DIS is going that week. It's MouseFest, but the first half of the week is a cruise for the Fest-ers. If you look at the MouseFest page on www.allears.net, you can see where they'll be to avoid them. (Not saying that you should avoid them, but if you don't want crowds, don't go to Swan/Dolphin on Saturday!)

it is a wonderful time to go to Disney!!! there are conventions, cheerleaders, plus as mention Disney conventions...

but this is only on-site. Offsite this time is off season. more visitors to WDW stay offsite not on.

The cheerleaders will be there that week and staying at the All Star resort
and POR. They may spill over into other value/moderate resorts. That's
probably why nothing was available. I also think the Christmas parade is
being filmed for TV that first weekend. You'll have a great time no matter
what!

Plus DVC has the annual member meetings during early December and points are low at that time.

I know the Dolphin has rooms on Dec. lst, but its a little more pricey than what you are looking for. Have you tried expedia or travelocity.Best of luck.

You might want to avoid the Mousefest Park days 12/7-11

Thanks for all this info everyone as I know we will make the best of our trip and have a great time. Also we will be taken a look this weekend to see if we can get a place to stay for Dec 1st. I'm sure we will find something it is the rpice that we will have to decide on.
