We are nearly 3 weeks into a 23 day stay in WDW. Everything I read prior to this trip said that visiting other resorts wasn’t allowed (including a chat with a CM in MDE).
On our second day here we visited the DVC Lounge in Epcot, where we were encouraged to visit the DVC resorts and view rooms (now available at all DVC resorts).
We have now been to nearly every DVC Resort on property (GF is the exception), many multiple times. You don’t even need to say you are a DVC member at the entry gate to the resort! As long as you are staying on property, they let you in. You don’t need to say you are going to view the models. And you don’t need to be staying at another DVC resort either - we were able to resort hop while at the Ft Wilderness Campgrounds. Apparently, since the resorts are quite empty, they want guests to visit them as a possible incentive to buying into DVC.
