obviously i am new to the whole disney planning world and i have a question - we are undecided about the dining plan but are seriously considering it. we wanted to possibly stay at 2 different resorts(ft. wilderness cabins & the beach club resort) in october - how does this work? would i have to do two completely separate vacation package - thereby increasing the expense - especially on the park tickets or could i get everything (dining plan & park tickets) on one reservation and have a room only for the other - i see that a lot of people resort hop but i haven't seen anything about resort hopping & the dining plan? thanks in advance!!

have you tried asking a disney rep yet? I know the tickets you can buy up to 14 days, so with your first room buy the park tickets for the entire stay. The price for the room and dining at your second hotel will probably have to be done on a seperate reservation

You would have to book 2 separate packages if you want the dining plan included for both parts of your trip. You can get 1 day tickets for your second portion and save them and get enough days to cover the full trip in your first package -- I believe this is the most cost effective way of doing the tickets.

thanks - i called the travel line today and a very helpful CM told me basically the same - to keep the dining plan for my whole trip i would have to have two separate packages with theme park tickets included separately on both.
