Resort hopping on 10/31

We've been to WDW for Halloween season but this is the first year we will be there for Halloween itself. We are looking forward to resort hopping on Halloween to see what character meets we can find (hoping for Oogie Boogie!). Any tips? Do all resorts do the character meets in the same time frame? Are the deluxe resorts generally the best to go to?

They range throughout the afternoon but there is a lot of overlap time wise. Lines can get long as some resorts. We tried to hop last year and it didn't work out too well. This year we're going to try again but just stick to the monorail resorts. (Were staying at blt)

Last year, Kenny the Pirate posted the activity times early in the month- so keep an eye out for him to make a post for this year's soon! But it does look like all the meets are around the same time frame (later in the afternoon).
