Resort gift shops sell wine and beer?

I am thinking of skipping my usual grocery stop this year because of a late arrival time, and was wondering if there is beer or wine available for purchase in the resort gift shops, specifically AKL. Thanks for any help!

Yep. AKL has an especially good selection of wines (lots from Africa).

I think they all do.
I know (from experience) that all of the All Stars do.

Might want to reconsider. A 12 pack of beer at Disney will cost around $20. Never priced the wine but would assume it would cost quite a bit more that outside the "World" also.

A few years back we were at WDW for Christmas and there was an unsusual cold snap (well below freezing every night). I couldn't warm up one night so I went to the gift shop at POFQ and saw they had brandy. I asked the price- $27 for a pint. I went and got coffee.

They just received a new label at AKL and it is very reasonably priced. We didn't buy any because we had already hit Gooding's for some YellowTail.

However I wouldn't buy beer or wine at the resorts for the most part. That was very much the exception.

What I would recommend - if you don't have a car - is to take a bus to Downtown Disney then walk to Goodings. If you can get on one of the Downtown Disney Resort busses then that's even better - the Best Western is right across the streed from Gooding's.

It takes a bit of time but will save you some serious dough.

Another option is to walk to the Hess station from the Boardwalk. They have beer, malt beverages, and I think wine. I have used the liquor store at the Crossroads (getting off the DTD Hotel bus at the Best Western). They pick up in slot 26, I think.

I did not think the wine prices were to bad. We paid 24 fpor a bottle a tthe Mara that was good. I also bought a bottle of cheap COlumbian crest at the poly for 15.00.

I am also in the same predicament this year. I will probably stash some in our luggage.

It is great to have options! Thanks for the suggestions! DisorBust...you are going to stash that in carry-on luggage, correct? I am planning to pack some "unbreakable" snacks in the on-board luggage, but thought a wine bottle would be too risky.
