Resort fees reversed??

Has anyone ever complained about and then had the resort fees reversed? We are staying at the Wyndham on IDrive through priceline (2rooms)resort fees will be over $8 a night. Just wondering if it was worth asking about when we check out.

Just got back from the Wyndham Palace. I asked about that and they were not taken off. Better to prepare yourself to pay them just in case. Mine were $61 +/- with tax for 6 nights.

We stayed at the Swan and Dolphin in Feb and March- and told the clerks at check in that we didn't need the 'resort amenities'.

They waived it with no objections.
