I am looking for some advantages/disadvantages of using Disneyland Resort Express vs. Supershuttle from John Wayne. One thing I can think of right away is that we are considering an early flight home and I see DRE has a definite first pick up time which may not be early enough for us and SS is 24 hrs. Any other thoughts like convenience, wait times, number of stops, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

SS can be hit or miss. When it's practically empty it's great, but when it's full and it's the driver's second day on the job and they don't know their way around town and you've passed your hotel several times and you get dropped off last, it's not so great.

Would a cab work for you guys? I know depending on the ages of your kids car seats might be an issue but I think a cab would likely be just as cheap as a shuttle and you'll get picked up more quickly ( won't have to wait for the next shuttle ) and dropped off right away without having to make any other stops.

I'm on the fence myself about shuttle versus a cab for my trip in September ... my DD is 8 and while according the Cali law she doesn't require a car seat she still uses a booster all the time up here.
