Resort events on New Year's Eve

I know there are special events that happen in each park and in Disney Springs on NYE, but do the resorts do anything to celebrate? We are considering a trip during this time, but if we didn't want to be in the crazy crowded parks on NYE, would there be anything going on at the resorts?

We went to Epcot NYE, but we were staying at POFQ. As we headed out, they were setting up for a party in the courtyard. I think they had a DJ, some activities for kids, balloons, etc...
