I agree with checking out the menus to see what interests you. I, personally, enjoy going to any and all resorts, but I'm definitely not a foodie. I love Disney pizza and chicken nuggets! I am fairly simple, so as long as I can get something to eat, I'm fine. I like to check out the resorts more for the resorts than the food. If you're picky with food (or if you're looking for something special) then look at the menus. If not, then just pick a hotel that you've never seen and go from there.
So far I've had a walkaround or stayed at all of these resorts: Pop Century, All Star Sports, Movies and Music, Art of Animation, Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter, Coronado Springs, Yacht and Beach Club, the Contemporary, the Poly and the GF. This year I'm planning to see at least the Wilderness Lodge (Hoop Dee Doo and meandering around all the other areas, including the Lodge while over there) and CBR since it's the only mod I've not yet seen.
