Which resort locations are worth a trip to for their counter service menu?

We also really like Pop Century, the Polynesian and the Contemporary.

While I think the food court options are adequate to good at most of the resorts, I wouldn't go to any resort just to eat CS.

we love the Poly for CS. We actually do make a special trip to eat there. Love the fact they also have a self serve Dole Whip machine

Other then that we also love POR and I thought the AOA had a good menu when we looked around the resort last year.

The only CS at a resort we'd head to just for that is Captain Cooks at the Poly.

Our favorite is Captain Cooks at the Poly, followed by Roaring Forks at the WL and Mara at AKL.

We are staying at the Poly for the first time this fall and I can't wait to try out Captain Cooks

Definitely the Poly, especially since it is not far out of the way if you're going to EPCOT or MK.

We LOVE the counter service at Port Orleans Riverside. It has a good variety to choose from and the food is good!

I've made a special trip to Mara for lunch and a walk around the resort. It has enough *different* kinds of food to make it worthwhile (to me at least). There's almost always an interesting soup on offer.

I can see why a lot of people would go to Captain Cook's, although most of the food at the Poly is way too sweet for my tastes.

We love the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary and another one we've made a special trip out to is the Pepper Market at Coronado Springs. Really good! If you have a Tables in Wonderland card, Landscape of Flavors at AoA takes that and it makes it super affordable and food is fabulous!

The one at the Grand is really good. They have excellent salads. Haven't been there in a few years, but when we went, we really enjoyed it!

We like the cs at POR Riverside the best. We used to like POP until they changed their menu and took all the good things off.

Other than Epcot, we actually prefer the CS options at some of the resorts as well as DTD. Some of our favorites at the resorts are: Pepper Market at CSR and the food court at POR (family enjoys the make your own pasta meal).

. I agree! I loved the pasta bar! pick what type of pasta, what type of sauce, what type of add ins, and they cook it right in front of you. The portions are huge. The surprising thing is it was so good! Better than some of the table service selections. Also love the cheesecake! The price was far less than some of the table service!

It was so good that even though we are staying at AKV. and BLT, we will be making a couple of trips there for the pasta bar.
