Does anyone know if any of the resorts have their decorations up yet?(GF, WL, etc.)

Within the next 7 days I would imagine they would be going up if they aren't yet. Also any date on when the GF gingerbread house typically opens each year?

We have gone in mid November on 7 trips. The resorts are a mix , we have seen the Gingerbread house up around the 16th , other trips it was still a work in progress. Same with POFQ & POR decorations . I will say the MK and DHS were done by the time we arrived and Epcot was done a few days after Food and Wine ending.

The big trees typically are not up until the weekend before Thanksgiving.

My friend was at GF for 1900 brft this morning. Gingerbread House is almost complete, set to open on 16th as PP said above. We have in previous yrs. been at Beach Club for Cape May brft on Mon. of Tday week, and chocolate carousel was up.

We were last there 2 years ago the full week prior to T-Day. While the icon trees were up at the parks and parks were really starting to show some decor, pretty much nothing at the resorts. Yes the GF Gingerbread house was up, but that was the one big deal. Nothing was even started at YC or BC. We were staying at BWV. That week they were working to put their display up. We got to see progress each day, filming of a video about it, and free samples from the cut "shingles" they were applying, but it wasn't complete until the Friday before Thanksgiving (the day we departed).

My Mom loves going for the holiday decor, so we will never go that week again. This year we are going the week immediately following Thanksgiving to ensure we get all the holiday goodies.

We were there last week and they were in the process of putting up resort decorations during our trip. The GF gingerbread house was up when we were there last Friday (November 11?). During our week we saw them change the plants, put up lights and garlands all around OKW (where we stayed)

Do you have to stay there to see it or could anyone had over? Thanks!

Anyone can visit the lobbies and open areas of resorts like the GF and AKL. It's not a bad idea to try their restaurants also but you are not obligated. (The pools are a different story.)

But their decorations are amazing when complete (and I love to take a few minutes to see the giraffes and zebras at AKL when I have reservations at Boma or Jiko.)

Thank you! Will definitely go check it out

We were at GF last year during Thanksgiving week and the tree went up Tuesday night before Thanksgiving. By Wednesday morning the lobby was all Christmassy:)

For the record, the Gingerbread displays take time so they are in process well before the rest of the decorations are completed.
They start the resorts in a way that they are all finished before Thanksgiving (so they'll be finished this weekend, early next week)
They do 1 resort per night, in a randomly chosen order.
So telling what order they were done in the past won't have much bearing on what order they are done this year, or next, or next, etc.
The two constant year after year are they'll be done before Thanksgiving. And the Gingerbread displays will be in process and finished up by the time they decorate the remaining parts
