I haven't called about a non-club level room at CR in a couple of days. I think the Disney Gods want me to stay there.

And on the WDW website, a Tower MKV room is available. If only it were with my PIN.

It is so true. And a LOT of places don't have free wifi. It makes me mad when people get nasty Can't we all just get along? Poly, CR, GF, and of course here are where the "happy people" are

I have always been torn between the Poly and the BC. I went with BC because of SAB and EP and it was a bit less expensive. I have read that SAB isn't always best for large families with small children because its hard to watch them?!? I think we would be fine. All my kids are going to care about at that point is swimming anyway.

In the back of my mind, I keep thinking....we can always rent DVC at BC in the future but we won't have that option at the Poly. I mentioned changing to the Poly last night and my husband was like...."Are you serious?" Hmm....we could switch to CL at the Poly for $185 more.....

Does DH like a good beer now and then? If he does, you might want to mention the fact that the Poly serves a Kona Island brew (in unlimited quantities) which might appeal to your DH's yet undiscovered tropical side

And, while the Poly does cost more, the room is bigger than at the BC by about 35 square feet. (Resort changing is a game of inches, umm, square feet.)

Will you visit the MK more than Epcot? If so, then think of the convenience of taking the monorail to the MK and walking right over to the TTC to go to Epcot.

How do you know that your pin won't work if you haven't called? Isn't that the room you really wanted? Is so, why don't you call them and see if you can switch using your pin code or maybe there is another discount attached to your name. But, if you can't switch, don't sweat it, enjoy CL!

Seriously, I even paid for it in the Four Seasons in NYC, and the Venetian/Palazzo. Bellagio, and the Wynn in Vegas. It's pretty much an industry standard to charge for it. I find that some of the lower end chains will offer it to draw in guests.

Thanks! There is one poster in the theme parks board that seems to have aunt flo visiting 24/7. They are just so rude.

@WDWKOOK: I will give them a call tomorrow. They just closed so I will have to wait 'til then. I'm hoping something will be available.

I am from the planet of highest taxes in the world, aka Cook County, IL. Where our tax is 9.5% and our governors suck. I'm pretty sure my county has one of the highest taxes in the world.

I think the video is just absolutely hysterical. And Christopher Walken is just plain awesome! I love him as "The Continental". "Ach! I spilled champagne on your b**bs!" Best line ever!

I think it is standard to charge for wi-fi. Especially for high-end hotels like Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, Embassy Suites, etc.

@OThopeful35: I read that one! That one poster was so nasty to the one who was saying she felt BC didn't seem kid-friendly and I agree with her. I think some of the deluxes and mods don't look kid-friendly. When I think kid-friendly, I think of the Values with their over the top theming. And I have braved the theme park board. That place can be so scary!

If you bought them from Undecover Tourist you could save a couple of bucks on them.

Well, they won't actually "hold" them for you. Just email them to let them know that you'll be needing to purchase them and they will advise you from there. When you check-in on the 12th floor, they will sell them to you. But, I've never actually done this, so email them and let them know what tix you need and they'll tell you exactly how it works.

BTW, I'm glad you didn't mind Christopher Walken. I can't believe at such a young age you know about The Continental and his "champonya". I didn't know you are from Blagoland! I was born in Chicago, but grew-up in Bloomington, IN (not IL). DH grew-up in Highland Park and his mom lives on The Drive (LSD).

No, I lied...I was thinking of changing my 2012 ticker to November and to the WL. I'm trying to hold off until AFTER this trip first

DH agreed that I should change back to WL/CL. With all the exterior renovation/painting going on for the rest of the year at the BC, the thought of staying there for a week gets less and less appealing. Plus, that "BC - not impressed" thread on the resorts forum didn't help convince me to stay there.

So what does it mean that I just tried to change my BC reservation back to WL/CL (my original reservation) and there is no availability with my military pin? Is it a sign? Only the Honeymoon suite is available, which would be great if there was a sleeper sofa or bunk beds in there. But, I'm guessing it's a room for two - and for good reason.

I even tried to extend the CR, but there's no availability there past our 5 nights. Argh.
