Resort change - does MDE take a while to catch up?

Hi,

I changed my resort hotel using the change reservation and all worked ok, received email stating new resort. Logged into My Disney Experience and still shows everything for old resort reservation. Does this normally take a while to update - panicking a bit!

It's usually instantaneous when I make changes.

Yes, in my experience it takes until the next day to update the resort change on MDE. No worries- you're fine.

If you're nervous, though, simply call WDW to confirm the change.

Mine took 24 hours to update. If you have the email confirmation just wait until the next day, it typically updates overnight.

I guess it depends maybe. I made a resort change when I first booked my trip and it changed instantly. I wouldn't worry though, as others have said it has taken longer.

I've made changes doing it online as well as doing it over the phone. I find that over the phone was almost instantaneous and doing it online took a few hours or overnight to show. As long as I had the email I knew I could call the next day if it didn't show up and get it fixed.
