Resort Bus for Rope Drop

We are staying at AKL Kidani in April. Trying to decide between Uber and resort bus to make rope drop at each park. I've seen busses start running 1 hr prior to opening, but will parks opening early, how early should we arrive at the bus stop to insure we make the first bus? Or is is just easier to Uber? Thanks!

We are staying at Shades of green. We walked across and took Poly bus at 6:45am. We were the first people in animal kingdom and the only ones on the bus. It worked perfectly.

Disney buses get in before general vehicle traffic, including Ubers.

I'm not talking about ubering into park. I'm talking about ubering nearby and walking in. OR taking poly bus in

I would suggest getting to the bus stop 75 minutes before park opening. While bus service starts an hour before park opening, "an hour" is approximate, not exact. The sweet spot bus probably leaves 35- 45 minutes before park opening depending on distance to that park. But because it might be too full to take you you should plan on alternate buses you could get on namely (including) the one that comes before.

"Park opening" is also approximate as opposed to exact, although rarely is it after its published time. It depends on many factors including the size of the crowd waiting outside the entrance. As of one hour before park opening it is not possible to predict exactly when park opening will be.

Thanks, I guess we are hoping to get on the first bus to each park to insure we are there as early as possible to get in as soon as we can, whatever time they open. So, for the first busses from AKL is 75 min prior to official opening good, or should we aim for 90 or more to to make the first bus?
