Hello:)

I am wondering what you guys with allergies do for breakfast when it comes to resort breakfasts'. Like eating at Caribbean Beach at the quick service, or at the All Stars. How does this work out for you.

I am planning a quick weekend trip for my sister in law and she has some major life threatening allergies. I know Disney is amazing:) Ive never had to deal with this as I don't have issues. I want to make this trip as easy and food friendly as I can.

Will she be able to eat at these quick service breakfast places at our resort OR do I need to look at getting breakfast ressies somewhere else that does either table serive OR buffet where they might bring her a special plate?

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!! :thumbsup2

You can ask to speak to the manager and See the Ingrdients List, all counter service restaurants have them, even at the Resort food courts. We do this All the time for Family members with allergies and Special Diets

Of all of the quick service options you could have at WDW, resort QS is the easiest for dealing with allergies because you actually deal with a chef rather than a manager which is what happens in the parks. Chefs have the ability to customize a safe meal while a manager can only grab premade items which are safe and prepare them as-is in a safe area of the kitchen.

If she wants TS then that's definitely an option but it really is just a matter of preference as she'll be able to get some safe foods at resort QS locations. Without knowing her allergies it's hard for any of us to be able to list some of the things that she'll have as options but with my kids and my laundry lists of allergies we're able to get things like bacon & eggs with rolls or toast and potatoes (for 2 of us), bagels with vegan margarine (for 2 of us), waffles with real maple syrup with bacon or sausage (all 3 of us), cereal with rice milk (for 1 of us), fruit (all 3 of us) and I'm sure more.
