Resort Booked...Keep trying??

I tried to rent point for BCV but it is full for a studio on my dates. Do you just keep trying???

If I call Disney reservations I can get a studio at BCV. I just do not understand!! Any help would be appreciated.

disney has a certain percentage of the room inventory at every DVC resort that members can not book with points. So a DVC resort can be full for members but Reservations will still have rooms.

You can keep trying and hope a member will cancel.

You probably want to book at a different resort (if available) and go on the waiting list for BCV. Maybe something will come through.

You can just rent your reservation at another OR you can go on a waitlist. THis all has to be done by the owner of the points.

As Diane already posted, you really need to talk to the person who rents you the points. He/She may or may not be willing to fuss with the waitlist process for you. (There is no benefit to the owner to spend time working with MS on waitlists. Waitlists can be complicated or simple. Simple has a lot less chance of coming through, but it doesn't involve you moving back and forth between resorts).

Success of the waitlist will also depend on what dates you need the rooms. If you are trying for BCV the 1st weeks of December or during the Food & Wine Fest, or sometime soon (like within 60 days) I wouldn't hold my breath. If you are trying for a ressie in September, you might get lucky.
