Resort Beach Towels

I PLAN ON GOING TO TYPHOON LAGOON AND BLIZZARD BEACH DURING MY UPCOMING WDW VACATION. I HAD THOUGHT ABOUT BRINGING MY OWN BEACH TOWELS, BUT READ THE RESORTS PROVIDE THEM FOR USE. I AM STAYING AT THE YC. WHAT ARE THESE BEACH TOWELS LIKE? ARE THE BIG AND ABSORBANT? WOULD PREFER NOT TO BRING MY OWN TOWELS, IF NOT NEEDED. THANKS FOR THE HELP

The mods provide towels at the main pool but you bring your room towels for the quiet pools.

If they do provide towels they are not big and fluffy. There is usually a long line at BB and TL for people getting towels.

I would bring my own.

I have never stayed at the YC. However, the pool towels for the CBR and Poly are very similar to the bath towels at each resort. Maybe they are even the same. They are not the large sized beach towels you may be used too. Possibly you can rent those at the water parks. Haven't been to a water park in a few years, and I don't remember.

At the YC they are terry towels, fairly thick and absorbent. not as nice as plush french terry that most beach towels are made of these days, but as nice as better bath towels. I usually get two to put down over the chaise, they are about as wide as a regular beach towel, but not as long. They will give youa s manya s you want. save the packing space and use the ones there.

Definately take the pool towels from the YC to the waterparks.

If you can swing them I would bring towels from home. We just got back from a trip and went to Blizzard Beach (where we brought our own large beach towels) and stayed at the BC/YC/BCV complex. The towels at the pool were A LOT smaller than the ones we brought from home. Sure, they would have worked fine, but the ones from home meant I only needed one to dry me off sufficiently instead of two or more. The ones at SAB were nice terry cloth towels, but like I said, I liked mine better.
