Resort Availability for Next Week

I leave this weekend and have been booked since January, changing my resort a couple of times over the past ten months. For a long stretch of time there has been ZERO availability for next week. I check it a couple if times a day just out of curiosity. Today, most everything opened up! What do you think that is a sign of?

I think people are canceling due to lack of discount. (I know that applies for me.)

Time to make the final call for room only reservations. I think the cancel policy is 5 days out? Whether it’s lack of discount, disenchantment with the current Disney World experience, Covid or any mix of that nobody knows.
