resort ascavenger hunt?

has anyone created a resort scavenger hunt for a specific resort. we are having a group of family attend out VR and thought this could be a fun idea for a non park activity.....I am working on creating one specifically for the all star movies ( where most of guests will be staying)with the different movie themed buildings but wondered if anyone had done anything similar? any suggestions?

It would be really cute if you sent them on a "picture" scavenger hunt with a digital camera. Then put things at the resort that they could take pictures with like Woody, Buzz Lightyear, The Broom, a Concierge, etc. The reason you should do it with digital cameras is that you can review the pictures on digital camera screens to determine a winner. Make it a timed event...

If you like this idea and want me to adapt the original hotel scavenger card I made...post a request along with some things that you know are at that resort to take pictures with, and post them on the travel thread.

I will. I plan on using the themed displays around the resort buildings. An example of one simple question/clue would be " I am Andy's new toy ... to infinity and beyond" The teams would have to go to the location , answer the question(some aren't so easy and you would need to see specific display to answer) and I think I am going to include the take a photo idea at location. I like that, should make for some fun pictures!

I am glad you like the idea. It is sort of similar to the family magic tour in MK- we did that and really enjoyed it! About half of our group will be kids so I wanted something fun to do and then hang out at pool w/ pizza. Plan on using a quasi pirate theme combining the treasure/scavenger part and the pool idea.
we have stayed at movies before and really enjoyed the fun theme of the resort!

Did I tell you I made one last year for Tom Sawyers Island--lost my sons on that one....plan to do a better job this year.

Here are a few of clues for a photo scavenger hunt around the all star movies. each team is to solve the clue, find the location and then take a fun picture

____ My owner is Roger and I am dad to 101…

____ He ended up in the winner circle, can you?

____ Howdy Partner, I am a sheriff and Andy’s favorite toy…

____ Gwarsh, I am the goalie for the mighty ducks…..find me to score this one.

_____ What is the number conjured up on the cover of the giant spellbook?

____ Riding high above , what does the love bugs license plate say?

____ According to the production board, who is the director of Disney’s Monte Carlo?

_____ He couldn’t control himself as he “raced” to save his friends Woody and Buzz…..

______ Where you become a “canine” tv star, just step into the set…..

______ Masks the “Mighty” would wear


Still working on this but any input would be appreciated..... I plan on listing about 20 places/clues and giving a set time limit
