Resort and magic bands

We currently have a reservation in May for the Coronado Springs resort. We have ordered our bands. We are thinking of upgrading to the Grand Florida. Will this mess up our magic band?

No. The band just links to your MDE account.

As stated, it won't mess up anything.

NOTHING is a actually stored ON the MagicBands. The band is linked to your MDE account and is connected to a particular individual. ALL information (tickets, room details, FP, dining reservations, etc.) is stored on Disney's servers as part of your MDE account. MagicBands act merely as keys to access that data. You can have multiple MagicBands and/or cards. All of which are interchangeable. If you change a room reservation, it's just like changing a dining reservation; the data on MDE will change and the MagicBands will access the new data the next time the band is used.
