We have ressies at RPR for second week in august. we were supposed to recieve brochure on the hotels, but never did. I need to know if the hotels offer activities out side of the kids clubs. I know from reading the boards that they have a lua on Saturdays, and a pool movie on fridays...but what other things do they offer. We are going to drop our fairytale package at disney which would have given us a total of 11 days vacation. Now we are just going to do the 3 days at universal and 1 day at disney and 2 days just hanging out. I need to decide if we should stay at universal for those extra 3 days or at all star sports. If we stay at disney we can do things like the campfire program or go over to AKL and see the animals. We would prefere to do something cheap or free those extra days. My little girl is going to have surgery when we get back, and I will be off work for several weeks plus we are trying to buy a house. So the fairytale package just came at a bad time for us, but we still want to do a vacation.

Any inf would be appreciated

Thanks,

steph

I would stay at US for the extra days. It is eaiser to get around. You can go swimming at the 2 other hotels, go the movies it is a very nice theater. How about Wet and Wild. I don't know how much it is but there is a free shuttle from the hotel to the park. Citywalk is also fun to hang out at. I spent a lot of time up there. I booked my vacation through Universal Studios Vacations and didn't received any brochures until about 2 weeks before I left.

Are you aware of the online bonus admission special at USO? You buy 2 days admission and they up it to 5! That would give you 5 days park admission for only $89 for adults, less for kids. The hanging out stuff at Disney is really fun, too. Water Parade, Character Campfire, Heck, kids like playing on the playground! Also, isn't there a petting zoo at Ft. Wilderness? We did that a few years back.
Anyway, if you got the bonus admission, it would give you high ticket entertainment for no additional money. You could do 2 days or 5 and still not be wasting your money- its the cheapest way to buy 2 days admission.
