Residence Inn Sea World + other questions

Hello, might have an opportunity in August to head back to Orlando. This time around, I am looking at getting the 14 day flex ticket (Sea World, Aquatica, US, Wet and Wild, BG). As for accomadation, the Residence Inn Sea World seems to get very good reviews, can anyone pass along some feedback? Is it walking distance to Sea World and Aquatica? And how "kid friendly" are Aquatica and Wet and Wild? Kids are 6 and 8 and will try most rides. Thanks!

I can only speek for RI. It is a very nice chain hotel I always choose RI in any state I can always be sure of quality and you get a comp. breakfast. I'm sure you will be pleased.

If prices are similar the Res. Inn on Palm Pkwy. is a bit nicer and newer, plus the breakfast buffett is better. Will you have a car? It's about a 5 minute drive to the Sea World exit area if you drive on Palm (a back road approach). If you don't have a car, the other location is closer but I have no idea if you can walk there; only stayed there one night and we weren't headed to SW. The hotel website should list shuttle options though.
