Residence Inn or Hilton Garden Inn

I am planning a trip in August to Florida. We will be staying 2 nights at either the Residence Inn Sea World or the Hilton Garden Inn Sea World. Does anyone know when the Residence Inn was last renovated. It is difficult to tell by looking at the pictures. Many reviews were great, but some talked about being run down. Not sure if they could be old reviews. I have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn before and liked it very much. Heard that the Residence Inn was also very nice and included breakfast so thinking of going there. Help....

I was at Residence Inn last Sept and it was wonderful. So much so I recomended it to friends in Janaury and they loved it too. Nice large rooms with full kitchens, free deluxe breakfast that features two hot items. Beautiful pool area and great lcoation. Not run down at all. I dont know when it was refurbished but we are picky travelers and loved it there. i choose Residence Inn for you I really think you will like it. The breakfast is a big money saver.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Seaworld during Christmas Week 2012. We really enjoyed it. The property itself ticked all the boxes on our wish list.....fully separate bedroom from the living area, full size fridge in the room, microwave/coffee maker/etc., free breakfast buffet, free internet, and free parking to name those that were probably the most important to us.

It wasn't newly renovated by any stretch, but neither was it "worn". We found the property clean and in good repair. Here are some pics from our visit:
