Hi,

Is it possible to book a transfer to MCO with airline check in while already on-board? We would only want to take the bus if we can check-in for our flight and have our luggage taken.

Thanks.

You CAN book post-cruise DCL Transfers from port to airport during the cruise. It will be charged to your onboard account and I believe they put a sticker on your KTTW card.

I thought you had to sign-up for Onboard Airline Check-in (the service that takes your bags for you) during check-in at the terminal before boarding. I'm not sure that aspect can be done onboard during the cruise.

Is there a reason you don't want to book transfers in advance? Are you expecting your post-cruise plans to change?

Enjoy your vacation!

My cruise leaves Monday si I wasn't sure if it was too late to call to book. I will give that a try.

Thank you.

Agreed. They list the airlines that participate in onboard airline check-in, so it's not like it would be a surprise list once you get onboard. If your airline is on the list, you can sign up for that. If it is not, you cannot. Period.

Members of my family have added both airline checkin and DCL transfers onboard. I think it had to be done at least two days before the end of the cruise. Don't know if they got stickers.

Although the verbiage is to settle onboard airline checkin in the terminal, when I've done that I've been told to do it again onboard so I no longer bother doing it with the folks in the terminal. Rather I go to GS early in the cruise at a time when they are not busy.

You can do both onboard. There is a deadline on when you have to sign up for Onboard Airline Check-in; so if you do it onboard, earlier is better. But you should be able to still add them now since you still have more than 3 days before your cruise.

Yes, there is a deadline. Somehow our registration for the Onboard Airline Check slipped through the cracks. On the night we should have gotten our airline boarding passes and luggage tags I went down to GS and they did not have us on the list. They said they would try to contact whoever it was they needed to to get us on and deliver our stuff. They made no promises as it was late in the process. They did come through but it sounded like it was a hassle to do so late. Definitely suggest booking your transfers and then registering for the onboard airline check in at the terminal.

I think the reason it has been necessary for me to finish the process onboard with GS is that shoreside is not able to make sure there my account is not charged for luggage fees when I am exempt.

But given mmouse37's experience, it seems prudent to double check with GS anyway.
