Reserving Rental car

I´m wondering if anybody could tell me the best way to get the cheapest rate for a car:call the station at Orlando Airport directl;use the 800 number for the whole US;or book on the internet.I need to use Avis or Budget,because we are going to WDW first with 2 different Hotels and do a cruise afterwards and as far as I know these 2 Companys have Stations at Port Canaveral.Any advice would be appreciated because it´s not easy to do all the research from Germany.

Usually you will get the best prices on the internet. They sometimes offer internet only fares. I wouldn't call the Orlando location directly as they would probably be the most expensive.
