Reserving for Chrisrmas time

Greetings. I am in the process of purchasing points at the Beach Club Villas for a Dec purchase month. I was told that they would run from Dec 1 and had to be finished by Nov 30 of the following year. What are my chances by banking points from year to year of getting Reservations from the Dec 20 thru Dec 26. Has anyone else ever booked at that time. How important is the use month. Thanks all!

You might want to take a look over on the DVC Operations or Planning Board

But I know we have some CDN DVCers here too, that might be able to help.

We owned BCV, and loved it...we never had to worry much about our UY though - we were always borrowing points

You really don't need to worry about your use month. That is just DVC's way of doling out the points. However, you are hoping to stay at a very popular DVC resort at a very popular time of year and you are quickly approaching the 7-month window when any DVC member can book at any DVC resort for that time of year.
